Barnes Bridge

Barnes Runners was established in January 2005. We are a group of varying ages and abilities - unless you are Eliud Kipchoge, there should be someone who runs at your pace. Some of us run marathons, some of us run around the block. Some members have been running for 40 years, others have only recently discovered the joy of running.

When do we run?

The club currently has two organised runs a week.

On Tuesday nights, we meet at 7pm for a 7:15pm departure from Rose House, 70 Barnes High Street. There is somewhere to leave kit. The route is usually a 10K loop with the option of a shorter 5K route for those who do not wish to run the full distance. The shorter route is usually lead by a volunteer.

On Thursday mornings, we meet at Barn Elms Sports Trust track for an intervals session.

Interested?

We are an open and friendly club, and welcome new members at any time of year. You can message us on our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/groups/BarnesRunners

How do I join?

Just turn up! You can try us out for 3 free runs before deciding whether to join. Membership costs £40 but that includes track use and affiliation to England Athletics, which has many benefits including reduced entry fees to races.
